Position Papers
BY FAR, THE MOST EXPERIENCED CANDIDATE IN THIS RACE
I grew up in poverty, worked my way through college. I filed my Candidate's Intention Statement with the Secretary of State nearly a full year before any of the other candidates and have been devoting nearly full time to learning the job of Member, Danville Town Council ever since.
SERVICES IN DANVILLE ARE AT GREAT RISK OF BEING CUT IN 2003-2006
Police Beats May Be Cut From 4 to 3, Sufficient Funds May Not Be Available To Build And Maintain More Sports Fields Without Large Increases In User Fees, Increased LLAD Fees. Only a few Members of the Town Council and Public have been permitted to see the Draft Comprehensive Annual Financial Review for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2002, prior to the November 5 Election. There are significant changes in this Review from prior years.
NO INCUMBENT DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEMBER HAS EVER LOST RE-ELECTION. THERE IS NO UPPER LIMIT TO HOW MUCH MONEY CAN BE SPENT ON A CANDIDATE'S CAMPAIGN
A small group of individuals have mainained control of Danville Town government, using political principles first explained by Machiavelli in his book "The Prince", published in 1532 That group will stop at nothing to maintain the stranglehold it has held on Danville politics over the past 20 years.
