I was born in California and raised in the Bay Area and in Suburban Maryland outside of Washington, DC. I received a B.A. in Speech and Drama from the University of Michigan in 1972, a B.S. (equiv.) in Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University in 1977, and MSPH in Environmental Engineering from University of North Carolina in 1978, a California clear teaching credential from Cal State Hayward in 1996, a Master's in Educational Administration from St. Mary's College in Moraga in 1999 I will complete my full clear Administrative Credential from St. Mary's College in June 2003, and I am presently working on my Doctorate in Education at St. Mary's College. I work as a full time high school administrator in another school district, I own two successful businesses in the Bay Area and my daughter in the 10th grade.
I have taught students from preschool through community college and worked as an administrator at elementary, middle and high school levels. With my experiences in management consulting, private industry, government and as a business owner, I can actively listen, research, analyze and work cooperatively with other board members to arrive at the best decisions to benefit our students.
