I have spent most of my life in communications, media, and graphic design. I attended a Christian high school, a denominational college, and ended up doing what I love, which is anything that has to do with communication skills, both verbal and visual. After graduating from Mt San Jacinto College in 1972 I started my own monthly magazine and later my own weekly shopping newspaper. I sold these in 1981, invested in some real estate, and began writing and recording country, as well as Gospel songs. I have experience in running for elected office, both partisan and non-partisan, having run for the MSJC college board of trustees in 1972 and for U. S. Representative in what was then the 44th congressional district here in Southern California. I have worked in my community as a volunteer on the Crisis Hotline, helped establish the alumni association at MSJC, am presently on the Ramona Bowl Music Assoc board, and belong to the 3rd brigade of the United States Volunteers.
