Full Biography for Janet Lee Nudelman

|
I was born and raised in Park Forest, a south suburb of Chicago, Illinois and have lived and worked in San Francisco since 1990. I have an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Women's Studies from George Washington University. I have 15 years of professional experience as a social change advocate. I was Medea Benjamin's campaign manager for MUD Board, Working Assets' Political Director, and am currently a women's health consultant. I also spent over a decade in the domestic violence arena serving as the Director of the Family Violence Prevention Fund's Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence and as a lobbyist for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. I believe I have the kind of entrepreneurial, administrative and political skills that would benefit the Green Party. I also have an in-depth understanding of the non-profit sector -- having worked in that arena for over a decade -- and the organizational relationships necessary to be an effective leader of the Green Party. |
