Professional Experience St. Bernard-Elmwood Place School District, Elmwood Place Elementary, Principal, 1999-Present Princeton City Schools District, Assistant Principal, 1995-1999 Counselor, 1987 to 1995 Teacher, Social Studies, 1983-1987 St. Bernard-Elmwood Place School District, School Board Member, 1998-1999 Served on a committee to rewrite social studies curriculum. Developed and implemented "Team Intervention Checklist" used by teachers and principals. Created a letter sent to parents to acknowledge good grades. Initiated a before-school basketball league for staff members which improved the staff morale. Facilitated the implementation of the National Junior Honor Society at Princeton Junior High. Implemented a Brotherhood Basketball game between staff and students. Selected to committee of the Terry A. Steele Award, a highly prestigious award presented to the most outstanding 7th and 8th grade students in honor of a former principal.
