Promote Crime Prevention and Public Safety
Encourage expansion of Modesto Police Departments drug enforcement and the Gang-Terrorism Task Force is a priority. Retaliation fears of law abiding citizens should be reduced through support of neighborhood and community watch programs. The City must increase the number of fire personel on emergency vehicles in order to meet national standards. We need the recommended upgrade of our fire/police radio system to 800 mhz. Our police, fire personel deserve our full support and funding of their needs. Residence of all areas of our City should be safe and secure in their neighborhoods.
