I believe that:
- Education should begin in the home.
- K-6 education develops educational skills used in a lifetime of learning.
- Junior and Senior High schools prepare students for career choices.
- All students need to make career choices. Some careers require university training, others require community or trade school training, while some career can be learned with on the job experience.
- Excellent educational experiences involves a partnership of home, school and community.
- Education continues throughout a persons life, although it may not always be in the classroom.
- Outstanding schools focus on the classroom as being the center of educational existence.
- Excellent educational results require high standards and expectations from all the students and staff.
- Education should be structured to fit the needs of all of the students within the District.
- All students belong in school with absenteeism being held to a minimum. This responsibility belong not only in the home, but the school as well as the community.
- Positive, active attention should be given to those students and their parents who seem uninterested in education.
- Over crowded schools do not provide the best experiences for an education.
- Long range planning with professional, community and student input is the only way to have a successful outcome.
- Children and their educational achievements are the life sustaining fiber of our democratic existence.
