San Mateo County, CA | November 6, 2001 Election |
Proposition I (M.U.D.)By Kenneth C. "Ken" McCallCandidate for Councilmember; City of Brisbane | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
OpposedAlthough I believe that a M.U.D. has the potential of being a great thing for Brisbane to be a part of, I find myself deeply disappointed in the currently proposed M.U.D. I find the lack of specific information regarding future plans and expenses involved to be extremely frustrating. Further, as I look at the way the districts have been established, I find that Brisbane really does not even have the hope of proper representation and thereby protection from the will of the elected board. As best I can determine we actually end up with less than a 1/5th vote. All one has to do is take a look at the lay of the land of Brisbane vs. that of San Francisco to know where the power generation stations and etc. will be placed. |
