Candidate for
Director; Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District

The Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District was fined last year for seven violations associated with releasing sewage into San Francisco Bay. The District is also confronted with how to pay for upgrades and maintenance during a period when the high cost of electricity is increasing operating expenses.

These are difficult management issues requiring a candidate with extensive management experience and a belief in adherence to environmental regulations. With over 12 years of Corporate Management experience, I would bring valuable experience to the Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District at a critical time. I plan to use my professional and education experience ensure the district follows a policy of full disclosure, accountability, fiscal prudence, and adherence to environmental regulations.
