Candidate for
Trustee; Big Lagoon Union School District

I have lived in Humboldt County for 27 years and reside near Patrick's Point State Park. I have a daughter (Kaylyn) in the 3rd grade at Big Lagoon School and also have a son (Kyle) who is almost 4. I have a long history with Big Lagoon School and want to give back to the school that I once graduated from. Not only did I graduate from Big Lagoon School, my father, brother and cousins have all graduated from there. It is very important to me to provide my children with the same quality edcucation as my family has received.

I am also a Big Lagoon Site Council Member and know what issues are at hand for the Board Members. If elected, I will do everything in my power to secure our children's valuable education and explore ideas to increase our enrollment numbers. This is essential to insure Big Lagoon School's continued success in providing a quality, enriching program.
