Oakland's City Council District 6.
There will be an 8 day period
10 days before Election Day, April 17, 2001, when voters of Oakland's City Council District 6 can visit one of four sites in the district, or two elsewhere and actually cast their vote. The
four sites are:
- Eastmont Mall, 2nd Floor - 73rd and Bancroft Avenues,
- Rainbow Recreation Center - 5800 International Blvd.,
- Redwood Heights Recreation Center, 3883 Aliso Avenue,
- Oakland Fire Station #21 at
13150 Skyline Blvd.
These polling places will be open from 11 AM - 7 PM on
Saturday March 31 through Saturday April 7, 2001.
In addition, people can go to vote at the City Clerk's office, Oakland City
Hall, 2nd Floor April 2 - April 6 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM (til 7 PM on
Tuesday, April 3) or at the Registrar of Voter's Office 1225 Fallon St.,
Room G-1, March 19 through April 17, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5
PM (and until 8 PM on Election Day, April 17)
