Top Priorities if Elected |
- Affordable Housing
- Revitalize Downtown Santa Rosa
- Developing Neighborhoods, not Subdivisions
|
|
- Increasing Supply of Affordable Housing in Santa Rosa
-
The supply of affordable housing in Santa Rosa can be increased significantly if the City works proactively to encourage construction of new units and retain the supply of existing units.
- Revitalization of Downtown Santa Rosa
-
CityVision sprang up because our community understood the importance of our downtown. It is time we embrace the recommendations of CityVision, adopt the necessary policies, and seek out the resources to create a vibrant downtown.
- Developing Neighborhoods, not Subdivisions
-
Santa Rosa has only a limited amount of vacant land in the urban growth boundary. It is important that we approve development, which will maintain the growth and prosperity of our community, and at the same time protect its livability by providing workforce housing, services and jobs close to housing, and roads designed for bicycles and pedestrians, as well as automobiles.
