Individual citizens and families are best qualified to know their needs. Reducing the tax rate while generating more citizen participation in District actions would allow us to better determine where our healthcare dollars are spent. Therefore, the District should solicit more individual citizen input when determining program priorities. Primary consideration should be given to reducing actual and current health care costs.
Doctors and other medical professionals should be given greater freedom, both in their practices through the reduction of excess bureaucratic forms and in introducing innovative programs to promote health and wellness.
