  • My number one priority will always be the education of our students.
  • I will work to bring back an atmosphere of cooperation with the board, administration, faculty, and staff.
  • I will listen with an open mind to all sides of an issue before making a decision.

  • I have one child attending schools within this district.
  • Having grown up in this community, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to the schools where I recieved my education.
  • I work in the early education field and I am familiar with both age and developmentally appropriate practices for our children.
  • This experience and knowledge I have gained will enable me to make decisions for our schools that will be a benefit to the students.
Priorities:
  • One of my first priorities is to ensure the outlying areas are not lost nor become disconnected from our district.
  • Secondly I feel that it will be imperative to search and hire the best qualified Superintendent who possesses solid leadership skills.

  • I want to create an atmosphere of honest, open communication with administration, teachers, classified and parents for the benefit of students.
  • With the last administration, legal costs soared. I will fight to reduce legal expenses.
  • My priorities are building upgrades, expanding vocational programs and protecting the outlying area schools.

  • Because of it's popularity, I would like to the expand the "Success for All" reading program at the Santa Rosa Academic Academy to a second campus.
  • I'm interested in creating a Math/Sciences Academy School, and more trade classes at the High School for students not moving on to college.
