I will make it my job to increase housing and lower rents.We have to change the way we approach housing. The St. Francis Square Cooperative is an example of what can be. We must look into increasing density and height along transit corridors. We have to bring back the 25 thousand units that have been taken off the market, by talking with the landlords. We have to push for Octavia Boulevard to be built and rezone under utilized commercial and industrial land for housing for middle income and low -income families. |
