Candidate for
Board Member; Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District; Seat 3

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. My wife attended school in Pacific Beach as a child before moving to the Northwest where we met.

We have been residents of the Grossmont-Community College District for the past 24 years. We raised two sons in this district and they attended elementary, junior high and high school here. They graduated from the University of California and Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo, respectively. Both are engineers and are now married with children of their own. I am deeply concerned about their futures and those of all parents, children, and other people in our community college district.

We need to serve our people with meaningful instruction and a curriculum that offers courses to prepare students for current community needs and those for the foreseeable future.
