Answer from Frances R. "Fran" Kruss:
Involving parents, staff, community (including businesses), and administrators, will assist the board to understand their needs and concerns. Having an "Open Door" policy that would provide easier access to board members. Perhaps have "office hours" at the school sites. Definitely the Whisman School District Board could have three to four new members in December 2000. We will all need your assistance in providing us with input as we need to make decisions for the Whisman School District.
Vote: "Kruss for Kids!" Answer from Juan C. Aranda, Jr.:
Once these curriculum is in place and our programs expanded, in order to be inclusive; we must take every step necessary to avail our parents of this information and assist the child whichever way we can to help in its assimilation.
As a Board Member, it is my obligation to present my ideas to my fellow Board Members and mutually agree on a course of action to take.
I would reach out to the parents, business leaders; military personnel, retired and elderly residents; and every entity living or doing business in Mountain View and ask them to assist us in educating our children; through their experiences, time, effor and money. I would ask them all to join hands in educating our children, our future.
The order of the candidates is random and changes daily. |
