SMALL GOVERNMENT IS BEAUTIFUL

1. The Founding Fathers created a Federal Constitution

to LIMIT Government to basic services of protecting
individuals and their property rights. Not Salamanders.

2. Today Government is a bloated PORK BARREL bureaucratic

machine. Federal intrusion is on a totalitarian scale.

3. Local City Government is being coerced to follow state

and Federal guidelines. Furthermore, there is a lack of
insight that local Government has NO RIGHT to lend money
to private business, nor guarantee Loans for one man
running his private AIRLINE out of the
Santa Maria Airport. I shall work to stop this
financial pornograpy, of the City Taxpayers and airport
districts MONEY being put
on the hook to bail out failing businesses, by
guaranteed bank loans.

The bank will make money either
way, only the unwitting and unwilling TAXPAYERS stand to
lose, and in past have lost. Now, the Bank is dipping
into the TAXPAYERS BLOCK GRANT monies to take out the
interest payments not made by Pacifica Skyway Airlines.

CITY MANAGER Should NOT be a CITY DICTATOR

This City needs to re-establish the City CLERKS office
as a Department Head with a liveable salary, and immune
from firing by the City Manager, who is NOT elected.

STOP BAIL OUTS with TAXpayers MONEY $

Should the 99% of the Santa Maria Airport District (Guadalupe, Santa Maria and rural areas surrounding) be
forced to bail out ONE mans business? I say NO. Not
even if it is a friend of mine!

I challenged Dick Hulme, who stated that airlines owner
was a friend of his, to "take out a loan on YOUR home, for a $150,000." and put "Your home and money at risk" and give the taxpayers back their money", and also to debate this issue on CH 12 or 22. Mr. Hulme has not responded.

4. My GOAL is to GROW the whole North County, by developing
the same RIGHT to opt out of the bankrupt
Social Security system which Congress has been plundering
by "borrowing" without repaying for decades, making
it insolvent, and nothing more than a "Ponzi" scheme.

If that were NOT true, Congress and Presidential

candidates would not be talking about "fixing" Social
Security. They broke it. We can not trust them to
fix it. That would be like trusting the burglar who
robbed your home annual, to replace the goods and
repair the broken locks. What utter non-sense.

5. HOWEVER, unknown to most taxpayers and voters, is the

fact that Federal and State employees can OPT out of
the bankrupt system for a Private UN-robable-by
-Congress retirement system called PERS. All Teachers
Nationwide lobbied decades ago for a simular PRIVATE
retirement system which pays them back a lot more
than if they had been in Social Security.

I propose, that if it is good enough for our so called
"public servants" then it is good enough for all of
the Santa Maria Airport District Residents in all of
North Santa Barbara County. I want to make this my
top priority. And extend it to all employees and
officers of Corporations who put their Headquarters
at our Airport. We have a "defineable group" just
as teachers are "defineable" and there is no reason
not to give OUR overtaxed citizens the same power to
live a secure retirement free from the Congressional
bi-partisan robber barons.

THIS PLAN would encourage corporations to locate here.
THIS PLAN would give citizens the same ADVANTAGES
TEACHERS and "public Servants" have.
A secure retirement plan, that politicians can NOT
"borrow" [read that rob]. That would be more than
any prior Airport Director Board has ever endeavored
to give its citizens.

Those already retired could continue to take the old
plan or opt out and demand a LUMP SUM transfer to a
private RETIREMENT FUND of their own choosing.

NEXT, I would end the secret "closed Sessions" which are

used all to often. I actually received a letter,
telling me NOT to attend the AIRPORT Meeting, because
all but "one item" would be in closed session. Is this
America or the re-incarnation of the Soviet Union?

If I have the support of the public and accomplish
these goals, I will have earned my election.
