- 14 years public school experience in IA and CA and 24 years experience in the CSU Syetem with 2 years in the Brazilian Ministry of Education.
- Resident of the district since 1968, married w/four children who attended 6 district schools and completed degrees in higher education.
- Experience as advisor to the Commission for Teacher Credentials and the Journal for Calif. Professors of Educ. Admin. (CAPEA) editorial board
- Past president of CAPEA & Suburban Sch. Dist. Assoc.; currently CSBA Higher Educ. Remediation Task Force & CSBA Delegate Assembly member

- I will advocate a safe and healthy learning/working environment free from drugs and violence for the students and employees.
- I will continue to seek adequate funding for high quality programs, equipment, and facilities while insisting on academic and fiscal accountability.
