Goals and Experience

I joined the Elk Grove Community Services District Foundation Advisory Council in 1996. The Foundation supports Operation Clyde helping needy families take part in recreation activities.

I served four years on the Elk Grove Community Planning Advisory Council to have a voice in the County's decisions on development. I became Chair in
1998.

I fell in love with Elk Grove's Strauss Festival at the first performance. I helped to raise funds and in time joined the Strauss Board.

My education includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I volunteer with the Elk Grove Unified School District. I was the Treasurer for the District's successful school bond election. I was the Vice-President of the Legislative Education Advisory Resource Network, getting out the vote on education issues.
