- Supporter of protecting the environment . Against sewage spills.
- Active with community organizations such as Kiwanis, Water for People, Shriners Hospitals, DeMolay Youth Groups, and others.

Top Priorities if Elected |
- Water Supply Reliability - Protection from water shortage created by potential earthquake or any other emergency that would stop imported supplies.
- Water Quality - Reduce salinity in our water by pursuing State and Federal funding of salinity reduction programs in the Colorado River and Delta
- No More Sewage Spills - Preventive maintenance and a systematic inspection/evaluation program to properly maintain wastewater system and avoid leakage
