JOAN FINNEGAN

OCCUPATION: Director, Coastal Municipal Water District

I am Joan Finnegan and have been a Director of Coastal Municipal Water District (Coastal) for 15 years. Coastal and the Municipal Water District of Orange County are consolidating into one Board. I ask for your vote for Director of the combined Board.

As your Director, I will strive for water quality, water reliability and cost efficiency for Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. I am retired and have the time and desire to serve our communities.

I am a native Californian. My husband and I have owned our home for over 30 years. We raised our family here in Costa Mesa. I know how important healthy water supplies are to our families.

As a Candidate, I am not accepting any campaign contributions. In serving on the Coastal Board, I never took medical or retirement benefits.

Previously, I worked for Mesa Consolidated Water District for over 21 years. With my additional experience on water related committees and groups, I will be able to provide ratepayers with the representation we expect and desire.
