Dunn for Superior Court JudgeDear Voters: After our police officers have done their difficult jobs on our streets, what happens next? Our judicial system must see to it that both the victims and the accused are treated fairly, and that justice is served. The judicial system must ensure the public's safety, just like our police departments. That's why I support the death penalty, victims'rights, and tough sentences for career criminals and drunk drivers. I am proud of my 100% conviction rate in felony trial prosecutions while I was an Orange County Senior Deputy District Attorney. In the appellate courts, I have worked to ensure that trial judges are required to impose consecutive prison time for violent felons who personally use a firearm in the commission of their offenses. I have worked to give parents effective tools to enforce their child support awards, and to ensure that sexually violent predators will not be released on parole in Orange County. Public Safety is my paramount concern. Join the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs and 90,000 law enforcement officers in support me for Superior Court Judge. Sincerely, Tom Dunn |
