Parks and Libraries - A PriorityBy Carolyn V. CaveccheCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Orange | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
The City of Orange has 1/2 the park space recommended for a city our size. Finding new parkland as well as improving our existing parks and recreational facilities must be a priority. The families of Orange should not have to drive into Tustin to find a decent park. As a Library Trustee, I have fought to increase our library budget over the past 6 years. We still are not back to pre-1994 budget levels. Hours at all branches need to be increased. |
