Smart Voter Political Philosophy for John Miché

Candidate for
Director; San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District; District 7

This information is provided by the candidate

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS BART, Board of Directors, 7th District

With formal training in mathematics and professional experience as an Information Systems Engineer, I believe I am well suited to serve on the BART board. Having been a customer of the system for many years, I am well acquainted with its operations and short falls. Growing up in the Bay Area I remember the promises made when the system was built. Fast, reliable public transportation. The promises made, have all been broken. Continued expansion of the system without a strong clear commitment to reliable, cost effective, quality services, would be unwise.

As a Director I will advocate:

> Improved Service Quality through continuous process
improvements.
> Cost Effective Operations by applying sound business
decision making.
> The Elimination of Tax Subsidies, by opposing new and
renewed sales taxes.

In this regard, I ask for your vote of support.

Thank You,

John Miché For more information, see me on the web at: http://www.geocities.com
