The Natural Law Party encourages the full development of every person. As such, we support programs that act in the total public interest, rather than those that benefit one group at the detriment of another. For those kind of answers we look to social science research whenever it is available, to give us guidance in the direction for effective programs. It turns out there is an enormous amount of information that can be used to forge effective programs. The largest overriding issue for development of programs in the public interest, is campaign finance reform. Presently, we have a government that operates largely in the narrow interest of those who finance campaigns, while giving lip-service to everyone else. Essentially, it is a system of legalized bribery. Very little progress can be made on programs for the general public interest until campaigns are publicly financed. We support full public funding of elections. Information on specific issues can be found later on this site at the "position papers" button. For information on additional issues, you can go to the Natural Law Party website at WWW.Natural-Law.org. Thank you for your interest. Our goal is to unify the American people to work together in the common interest. If you would like to help with the campaign, please call us at 408/255-5386. |
