Support Parental Choice in Education
Why do we need to empower the parents within our educational system? Because there are only two people who name the name of very single child in every single classroom all across the country - that is the parents and the teachers. Today, our superintendents earn about $150,000 dollars a year. If parents are in charge of where that money goes those superintendents will start paying attention to what the parents want. Ultimately, because the parents and teachers know each other best, the superintendents will start paying attention to what the teachers want. When the parents and the teachers are empowered in the education system, our children will learn. The federal government can do this by creating an environment that allows parents and teachers to make the decisions that govern our children's lives. The decisions regarding our children's education should not be made by the bureaucrats in Washington or by the bureaucrats in Sacramento. Why do we need parental choice in education? We need it because it is the parents who care most about what happens to their children.
