I am Stacey Wilson, and I am running for the Area 4 seat on the Salinas City Elementary School Board. I am honored to ask you for your vote. My experience, professionalism, and local commitment make me the most qualified candidate to serve the school district. My children are attending the dual immersion (D.I.) programs at Lincoln Elementary and the new Dual Immersion Academy at Boronda Elementary. Our experience in the district and in the D.I. program has been amazing, yet a few experiences with poor communication led me to a school board meeting last fall. At that meeting I immediately developed a strong desire to inspire positive change in the leadership and community that is desperately needed in this district. I am a proud graduate of University Park Elementary, Washington Middle, and Salinas High. After attending Hartnell College, I completed my degree in Liberal Studies at CSUMB. My dad Jim Cheatham even taught me to fly helicopters at the Salinas Airport. I love this community. My business and life experiences have prepared me well in the work required of a school board member. Some of these experiences and achievements include:
As your school board member I will build trust and relationships in the schools and in our community. I will strongly defend your tax dollars with responsible and effective spending. I will work to ensure that every child receives the very best educational opportunities now and in the future. I invite you to contact me and/or learn more: Website: voteforstacey.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/vote4stacey. Phone: 831-783-5913 Email: staceyerinwilson@gmail.com. Help me return our district back to thriving - because education matters to each of us. I look forward to serving you on the SCESD Board, Stacey |
