Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Soledad Unified School District

As a local business woman since 1989, I am knowledgeable in finance and the business aspects of running a business. Due to my experience as a Trustee, I know board protocol and procedures. Having originally served as a Soledad Unified School District Trustee for eight years, then currently serving the last four year term, I know how to interpret policy and know how to research concerns. As the current Vice President of the board, I am here to serve not to be served. Representing my constituents with an open door policy. I don't shy away from any issues. I face issues so we can move forward to what we should be accomplishing, REPRESENTING the children of this district. I attended all Soledad schools and so did all my children. Life long resident without a personal agenda. Currently, we are moving forward by making sure our children have the same educational playing field by providing new I pads to each child at the High School and soon to our middle school. Building a new science building at our High School site and joining with Hartnell College to provide college classed locally. We are now at the final states of approving our plans for Soledad Middle School. Great things are happening, let's keep this momentum going for our children, VOTE LEDESMA.
