IRMA ZAMORANO For Mountain View School Board

As a wife and mother of two, I feel very deeply about the many challenges facing our children and our community. In all of my past efforts, I consistently supported policies that put our children and students first, both academically and in terms of their safety. In my view, our children and students are our greatest asset. If elected as your school board member, I will continue to place a strong emphasis on our student's achievement and safety. But I will also strongly emphasize fiscal responsibility- that your limited and hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely and effectively. I will also demand accountability at all levels + in our schools, at the district level, and on the Governing Board, and I will always pledge to make myself more responsive and accessible to all stakeholders + parents, teachers, staff and students alike. I am asking that our voices be joined together once again- and let us speak as one voice. It is time to address the issues of our district first and foremost.
