Olivia led the Council in requiring the City Manager to keep the Council informed concerning the general fund balance.
When it came to finding a new leader for Hawthorne, Olivia had the independent judgment to vote against hiring the former City Manager, whose incompetence has now come to light. She also voted to remove him from office once his deceptive behavior was revealed. Further, she led the Council in requiring the City Manager to keep the Council informed concerning the general fund balance.
