Candidate for
Council Member; City of Hermosa Beach

My wife Jennifer and I were raised in Southern California and decided to build our life together in Hermosa. We started our family here and now have two daughters, Shayne and Cody, and many friends in the strong, close-knit community that makes Hermosa a special place to live.

As an environmental lawyer and former middle school teacher, I'm used to taking on tough challenges. In my work as an environmental lawyer, I go after hardheaded polluters so citizens don't spend their tax dollars cleaning up their messes. I plan to use that experience to work with you toward a better Hermosa.

Hermosa is built on the vision and investment of prior generations. The Strand, the Greenbelt, and our City buildings are just three examples of smart investments that pay huge dividends for us, our visitors, and our local businesses. It's our turn to invest in our City so everyone can enjoy the benefits for generations to come.

Making smart investments that lower costs, improve performance, and protect Hermosa is why I'm running. I'm interested in your ideas of what's important and what we can do to build on what makes Hermosa great, so please send me your feedback.
