As Councilperson, I will work to make Westlake Village even more beautiful.
The former Westlake Village hospital site has been closed and unused for 20 years. It is my hope that the present owners, local citizens, and the new City Council can come together with a plan of action. One plan includes building a city park with a walking art path using both possible future international (i.e. Stockholm) and national (i.e. Denver) sister city artworks. The art would be free and the site would be paid for through private donations from boosters. This would allow citizens to enjoy the site and provide the City Council time for future use not easily apparent today.
