Political Philosophy for Lizette "Lucha" Arévalo
Candidate for |
Lucha believes every child should have the right to public education. Public education is one of our many democratic institutions sustained by public tax dollars, in which the people elect their governing board. This is why Lucha believes that every local education governing board should have people who not only graduated from public schools in the community, but who also have extensive experience in P/K-12 public education. Lucha believes in the power of having qualified candidates who have studied education, who are current educators, and who are grounded in the local community. Lucha is a candidate for the people of Compton and will continue to be a rebel against the status quo that has spiraled our schools into failure. |
