Hi there! I'm Johnny Lee and I want to be your next San Jose City Council Member. I'm a global citizen passionate about people, stories and technology. You'll find me interacting with the community online and at neighborhood, civic, cultural and performing arts gatherings. I have a love for people to interact and bring on life changing ideas that transform reality. I'm focused on supporting innovators, environmentalist, and cultural diversity to achieve successful interactive community projects involving Web and live experiences. My personality is a mix of passion, expertise and drive that I combine to deliver exceptional outcomes. I love to research government policy, energy, labor, leadership and community topics. I try to always have something interesting to talk about over a cup of tea. =p

Originally from San Diego, I moved to San Jose 9 years ago to further my education. During this time, I got married, was blessed with my daughter who is now a first grader.

Both my parents immigrated to our great country and worked the American Dream, my family owns a "successful pizza parlor", which I worked in since I was 8 years old. I graduated from chiropractic school at the age of 22, I was the youngest in my class. Post-graduation, I took a road trip across America. The following year, I travelled Europe, Africa and Asia. After my travels, I realized, there is no place like home.

Upon returning home, I worked for a chiropractic software company working to combine biomedical with technology. I learned how to program and started my own company, creating apps. As a new dad, I had concerns about schools, my neighborhood, so I felt it was my parental responsibility to get involved. This has led to me going to City Hall and getting in the local community.
