Common sense, not politicsHaving served in public office I have learned how government works, and knowing how to work with others and compromise to in order to obtain a goal has helped me become respected on both sides of the aisle. I do the job I was elected to do and do not worry about re-election. I believe if an elected official does a good job, they should be re-elected, and, if they do not work for their constituents and the Commonwealth, they should not be re-elected! I stand for improving the lives of those who live in our Commonwealth as well as our nation. That includes some of the issues that have not been addressed and need to be, such as: Property tax reform, the pension crisis, an extraction tax on the fracking industry, infrastructure, increasing the minimum wage, addressing equal pay for equal work, and medical marijuana, and last, but certainly not least, education must be funded to insure that our nation has the best educated students in the world, to name a few of the items that should take top priority. Our legislators need to WORK full time! |
