Susan Rzucidlo is a small business owner and president of SPEAK Unlimited Inc., a nonprofit organization that advocates for individuals who have disabilities and assists people in accessing services. For more than 15 years, she has been working to improve services for our most vulnerable residents in Chester County. Together, with her husband of 27 years, they own and operate Silent Z Farm Inc, a business that provides hay and straw for businesses and farms in the region. Susan understands the economic challenges that the district faces, and promotes a lower and fairer tax system for families and businesses in Pennsylvania. Susan and her husband are life long residents of the area and chose to raise their family of 4 children in Chester County, in part, because of the excellent public school system in the area. Their youngest is currently a high school student and their other 3 have all graduated from Kennett High School. Their second son, who lives with a severe form of autism, inspired Susan to become an advocate not only for him, but for all individuals who have special needs or complex medical diagnoses. Susan is the co-creator of the Pennsylvania Premise Alert system, a voluntary program that allows anyone with any special need or complex medical diagnosis share their needs with local police and the 911 centers. They gifted this program to Pennsylvania in 2008 and it has been replicated by law in Illinois and Wisconsin and informally put in place in communities across the nation and in Canada. Susan has participated at the local, regional and state level in committees and boards to improve public service systems. This work has given Susan a true understanding of how our systems work and the importance of bringing real accountability to all levels of government. Susan supports:
