I grew up in Santa Rosa during the 1960s - 70's, so I am familiar with cultural upheaval and the struggle for equality and Civil rights. I believe public service means accepting a role in advancing and maintaining our Community, not just seeking to govern for those who endorse you and send you money to influence your decisions.

I believe every Citizen, young or old, has value and something to offer the rest of us. We must strive for equality and fair treatment in our institutions, in our laws and in our daily discourse. It's pretty simple, really...
