Promote trade skill classes.

Although I love hands on work, I realized that this was not the career I had anticipated for when going to school. Teachers and even the counselors had pushed us students toward College and College programs such as Avid. Although, this is an effective program for students who choose to go to College, there are several great students who are better suited as tradesmen. One of my best friends went to College and found it was not for him. He now works on machines at a vineyard but that does not make him less important. We should promote programs that support students like my friend as they are the foundation of our economy.
