Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Atascadero Unified School District; 2 Year Short Term

I would like to bring my recognized leadership skills and experience to the AUSD as a trustee to help shape the future of the district for all our children. I will work with fellow board members and staff to ensure that our students are able to attend classes in fully functional facilities. I will make sure that our children have the tools they need to succeed in school today and in the workforce of tomorrow. I will strive to maintain our students' participation in enrichment programs like Rancho El Chorro that enhance all of our children's lives. I will work to enable our children of low income, in foster care and with English as a second language to reach their full potential. Lastly, I will work tirelessly to ensure the schools in our district are a safe place for our children, free from the threat of violence. As a father of children who will be a part of the districts until 2030 I feel this is my duty to get involved and make sure all the children in the district receive a quality education with the greatest opportunity.
