Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Retired Army Officer
  • Twenty-nine year career of public service in the Army and California Army National Guard.
  • Appointed by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court to serve as the Foreman of the County's 1999-2000 Grand Jury.
  • Have served as a Director of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., High School Memorial Scholarship Fund for 12 years and as Treasurer for 6 years.
  • Commissioner on the County's Juvenile Justice Commission and the Delinquency Prevention Commission where I am serving my third four-year term.
  • Member of the SLO Police Department's Juvenile Diversion Program for eight years as a Diversion Panel Volunteer until the program ended in 2009.

  • Be financially responsible with taxpayer money
  • Respect and value our many unique residential neighborhoods and work to protect them
  • Work to add on-campus housing at Cal Poly -- in appropriate locations
