- Position on Modernizing Classrooms and Incorporating Technology
-
I support modernizing classrooms, incorporating cutting-edge learning technologies, and making our campuses ADA compliant. New technologies and modernized classrooms at ALL campuses is desperately needed. The District needs long-term solutions, not quick fixes. The District, like students, must work smarter--not just harder. Our students are our treasure and legacy.
- Position on Building Additional Schools
-
I support building additional schools as soon as district enrollment and state funds can truly support this. There must be guarantees that existing schools will not be closed and dedicated teachers and district employees will not be laid off. The GUHSD Board is responsible for all the students in the entire District.
- My Major Accomplishments on the Board
-
Awarded the State of California Senate Certificate of Recognition by Senator Joel Anderson in honor of being named "Public Servant of the Month for an outstanding dedication to education over 25 years, a passion for helping students realize their true potential, and exemplary service on the Grossmont Union High School Board."
