Please Vote November 4, 2014During a special meeting on Monday, January 13, the Vallecitos Water District Board of Directors selected 17-year San Marcos resident Mike Sannella to fill their vacant Division 4 Board seat. He will represent parts of San Marcos, Carlsbad, and the Lake San Marcos community and assist in setting District water and sewer direction through November 4, 2014. A resident of San Marcos since 1996, Sannella's involvement in the community includes having served as Vice President of the San Marcos Economic Development Corporation, Vice President of San Diego County Crime Stoppers, as well as having served as a City planning commissioner. Additionally, he is involved with the San Marcos Boys & Girls Club volunteering on the Club's annual auction committee. Sannella currently works in the Defense and Aerospace industry and has over 15 years of business and security management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University San Marcos and completed the Leadership North County program also through CSUSM. Director Sannella resides in San Marcos with his wife Amy and their daughter. |
