As a business owner, Chuck knows what it's like to meet a payroll, create jobs and keep people working. He'll put his business skills to work at City Hall to identify waste and cut red tape. He will invest the savings into strengthening every Oceanside neighborhood and doing more to create jobs throughout our City. Quality of life matters to every resident. That's why Chuck promotes arts programs, public libraries, senior centers and community gardens.

Building Safer, Stronger Communities.

Chuck led the effort to restore fire protection in neglected neighborhoods and has led the fight to improve emergency response times throughout Oceanside. Chuck will always put public safety first because he knows investing in neighborhoods is vital to residents' quality of life and local economic success. Beautiful parks and recreation services must be available for all to enjoy. After-school programs work to keep the peace and make daily life safer for everyone.

As a business owner, Chuck knows what our local neighborhood businesses need to succeed. Chuck started, operated and sold a local manufacturing business and created jobs right here in Oceanside, for over two decades. Chuck will give small business operators a stronger voice at City Hall and work to make it easier and faster to open a business. Locals love our homegrown coffee shops, grocery stores and delis, bike shops, farmers' markets, community nonprofit groups and churches.

On Our Side Fighting For What's Right.

As a business owner, Chuck knows it requires leadership and determination to take on the tough fights that matter. Chuck opposes the Gregory Canyon Landfill that threatens the affordable drinking water Oceanside businesses and families rely on. And Chuck will continue the fight to beat back City Hall's harmful changes to the mobile home rent protections our seniors and veterans count on.
