Board Member; Vallecitos Water District; Division 3

Hello VWD Division 3 customers, I recently retired from my job as Director of Operations and Maintenance at the Rancho California Water District in Temecula.

I have no political agendas, I have no special interest backing and I'm not interested in micromanaging the business of the District. Instead, I offer 28 years of California water industry experience with the sole aim of providing policy oversight to ensure that VWD is a prudently run, efficient organization that is responsive to the needs of the rate payers.

I bring proven experience in managing and administering all aspects of a 50 million dollar annual operating budget for a 75-person water and wastewater operations and maintenance division.

In addition, in my former role as Civil Engineer, I bring extensive experience in the planning, design and construction of a variety of water and wastewater capital facilities.

Finally, I'm very familiar with the major policy issues facing California's water industry, including extended drought conditions, State Water Project and Colorado River supply constraints.

As your VWD Board member, I will use this experience to develop policies, guidance and oversight that empowers staff to conduct VWD business in a prudent and efficient manner, providing maximum value to you, the ratepayer.
