Why Vote for Paul Campo?

Our Hospital must continue to provide us with the highest possible medical care while not losing sight of us as individuals. The face of healthcare may be changing, but I have watched with pride as Our Hospital meets each new challenge successfully. All organizations must advance. Our Hospital already exceeds community expectations, as the outstanding accomplishments of its staff demonstrate.

I am a proven leader, as confirmed by my positions as an elected and appointed government official, and from my volunteer work as a director on the boards of diverse, regional nonprofit organizations. For example, my experience includes serving as a planning commissioner and council member for the City of Vista. I have also enjoyed sitting on the boards of the Elizabeth Hospice (and its separate Foundation), and the Tri-City Hospital Foundation.

The current Directors of Our Hospital work together cooperatively to create policy and establish strategic goals. We know the importance of listening respectfully to you and to each other. In a welcome break with the past, we form our opinions and make our decisions with care.

My years of service in the public and private sectors have taught me how to analyze and interpret large budgets. I am not afraid of a financial statement. In this challenging environment for healthcare, I understand how important it is to keep Our Hospital's fiscal house in order.

Most importantly, I never forget that public service is an honor.
