To narrow the achievement gap, four components have to occur continually in harmony:

• The parents. They must be encouraged to engage regularly in their children's educational efforts.

• The students. They want to be challenged by having stimulating teachers, good materials, and interesting projects and experiments.

• The teachers. It has been proven that students' intellectual curiosities are greatly inspired and motivated by their passionate and resourceful teachers.

• The policies and resources. The students need modernized classrooms, more quality time with their teachers, and updated teaching approaches.
