- Academic Excellence
-
Boards are responsible to create the conditions that will enable students to meet more rigorous knowledge and performance standards. I am passionately committed to help drive continuous improvement in the quality and breadth of education offered by our schools.
- The Role and Responsiblity of the Board of Education
-
In my view, the Board of Education has the responsibility to ensure high standards and expectations for all. We need to teach the mastery of skills: English language, math, science, history, and music. The best head start any child can have is rigorous instruction in reading and math.
