Greetings! My name is Leroy Tripette, and I currently serve as the External Relations Manager for the Employee Communications and External Relations Group of Folsom's largest technology employer. In this role, I provide strategic program oversight and partner with Museum of Science, Boston and MIT Media Lab to develop and implement programs, events and new technology initiatives for the global Computer Clubhouse community. A native Californian, raised in Davis, I have been working in Folsom for 19 years and have held numerous software engineering and technical project management positions within the company. Prior to my current role, I served as External Affairs manager for CA for 10 years, managing strategic community and education programs within the Greater Sacramento region and most of California.

Active in the community, I have served and continue to serve on several boards and committees including Board President for the Greater Sacramento Urban League, CA STEM Learning Network, National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity, Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and Board Chair for NextEd. In 2012, I was selected to serve on State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson's CA STEM Task Force, and am a current member of the Folsom Cordova Unified School District Measure M Oversight Committee. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Morehouse College in 1995.
