Almost 70% of our potable water is imported from northern California, and that water has been reduced by federal court environmental rulings and continued drought. It is, then, imperative that we pursue water use efficiency and local water projects to minimize our reliance on imported water. To achieve these goals I will encourage engineering innovation in the development of cost-effective projects for desalination, groundwater recharge, wastewater reclamation and direct potable reuse.

I have served on the Commission Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority and the California Department of Consumer Affairs Board regulating the practice and licensing of civil engineering and land surveying.

I have a B.S. degree in Business Management and Certificates in Water Supply Operations, Executive Management, and Economic Development.

My wife Erin is a public school teacher and we have 2 children at home, Charlese and Luke. We are all active at East Hills Community Church and and our children attend AWANA at Cross Winds Church.
